Douglas is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, but immigrated to Canada with his family in 1998. John Richardson practices in the area of Law for Social Change. John is the managing partner of Pivot Legal LLP and the Executive Director of Pivot Legal Society. A graduate of the University of Victoria law school, John was called to the BC bar in 2001. Katrina Pacey is the managing partner of Pivot Legal LLP and practices in the area of Criminal Defence, mental health, prison and constitutional law. Katrina is also lead counsel in two Pivot Legal Society campaigns - the sex work and human rights campaign and the health campaign. Lobat Sadrehashemi shares her time equally between serving individual clients in Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship law at Pivot Legal LLP and providing legal advocacy for Pivot Legal Society's campaigns on child welfare reform and violence against women. Lobat graduated from the University of Toronto's Joint Law and Master's of Social Work program in June 2005 and articled or Lorne Waldman, one of Canada's leading immigration and refugee lawyers. Mary Childs practices in the area of Business, Nonprofit and Charity law. She has law degrees from UBC law school and Oxford University and practiced law in two of Vancouver's largest law firms before joining Pivot Legal LLP in late 2007.
