Pablo Irribarra

Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship, Law for Social Change

Pablo Irribarra is an Associate Lawyer at Pivot Legal LLP, and practices exclusively in the areas of Canadian Immigration, Citizenship, and Refugee Protection Law. He regularly advises individuals and businesses on the various programs available under both the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and the Citizenship Act.

Pablo graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law, in June of 2006. He worked and volunteered throughout his time in law school as a Student Caseworker with the Center For Spanish Speaking Peoples Legal Clinic. He also volunteered with the PRO BONO Students Family Law Project, with the Downtown Legal Services Clinic, and as a Senior Editor with the Indigenous Law Journal.

In Vancouver, Pablo is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, and is a regular participant in both the Immigration and Refugee Law Sections. In addition, he runs two bi-monthly immigration legal clinics, providing free legal information to low-income individuals, and is actively involved as a volunteer lawyer with the Western Canada Society To Access Justice.

Pablo speaks Spanish fluently, and has access to certified interpreters and translators in several other languages and local dialects.
